Best tool for temp sender on a 3.6?

I'm currently disassembling my 3.6. I'd rather not cut my 14mm mid-rise socket to get the temp sender out of #3 head, but it's looking like I don't have much choice. What's the best tool, and where do you get it?

ps--I tried Pelican but they don't carry it.

buy a cheap deepwell socket you can slice up from ebay?
