3.2 Piston Pin Diameter
Why would the specs on this be n/a in Wayne's book? Is this to imply reusing them is not an option or just that for whatever reason Porsche didn't make it public. Mine appear to be just a couple thou under 23mm.

Bill, Can you clarify your post for me? I must be missing something since I assume it would not be even close to in spec if it was down to 20.033. Is 20.033 the minimum diameter for the smaller displacement pins? Hopefully not a stupid question on my part...

He mistyped it ... they are 23 mm

Piston pins are usually considered reusable.
Since the pin is a press fit into the piston, the only wear area is the contact surface on the rod bushing. Since the rod bushing is the softer material, it wears instead of the piston pin. |
The tech that measured them said the piston pins fit very snugly into the bushings and suggested reusing them. I guess I got lucky but so far everything that has been measured has been in spec...lucky me, so far.
