CDI coil or not

Dear All,
I know that part no. Bosch Nr. 0221121001 will suit the CDI System.

But are there different types on the market. See picture.
On the picture you see the untits with the terminals on side.

Could that be also a early CDI coil.

What Bosch part no are also work with CDI.

The one with the terminals side by side and not opposed are CDI transformers and will work as the others. The connector for those type of terminals I thought I took off of a later model 2.7L

Bob those are all CDI coils the ones with the close terminals are late SC

How do you test the coil?
