Is this an MFI engine or carburetors?

This also is a Rally kit engine, I wonder if there were differences between cars used in rally and circuit races.

Aaron,

Do you have this type of document for the other ST motors we are discussing ??

If so, can you post them...

Does anyone know what type of work the factory may have done on these cases ??

TIA

Sorry, I do not.

However, The sheet posted is the formula porsche used on most of the racing engines. Diffences would have been induction and rod material.

Hi there! I am thinking of building my self an ST replica up here in cold Norway. (crazy??maybe...):)
Anyway.. All the ST had carburetors, and i think theres was 40 IDA,s with some "slight" modifications.
My car (a 1965 912 originally) has an 2,7 with 40 IDA,s.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1224079789.jpg

To the best of my knowledge, all the ST motors had either MFI or Weber 46mm IDAs...

Correct, either hi-butterfly MFI or the 46's were the "normal" specs for this motor type.

There were some MFI engines as well.

Do you know "Fredrick 911" who made a DVD at the Nuerburgring Nordschlieffe with a 911ST? He also got the urge to build an ST replica. Not easy in Norway...
