LF info on CA Porsche Restorations - Brian Doherty
I was hoping someone might have some info on California Porsche Restorations in Fallbrook CA. The owner's name is Brian Doherty (sp?). I am considering having some restoration work done by him, but wanted to see if any of the Pelican's out there had any experience with him or his work. Any feedback would be much appreciated. Thanks.
-Mike

Henry Schmidt is in that area, great engine builder, great shop, and a friend of Pelican Parts. He posts often and maybe able to give you feedback or offer suggestions. Jim

I've known Brian for years and would consider him a friend. I have been building engines for him and his companies on and off for a number of years. Although we no long do "cosmetic restorations" if Brain sells you an engine overhaul, it was probably done at Supertec Performance.
Two of his main guys got a lot of their Porsche experience at Supertec. Both are conscientious and thorough. If the question is "does he (Brian) know Porsches and how to restore them properly" ? the answer is yes. Bring your American Express because Porsche restoration is not cheap. |
