Search here for "oil line restrictor"- when the factory went to a larger oil pump with the 964 they put restrictors in the cam oil lines to limit the flow. Some suggest that this reduces foaming of the oil and increases oil pressure, I happen to like the originals.

On your other post about this issue, the block that is in the"adapter kit" is the same block as the later engines used for the oil sender location. Check the other post for the complete list of parts needed for the right side, on your 73'. Good luck!! Tony.
