mech fuel distributor

I've got a 73' 911 E and rebuilding the engine. I use to run a pair of Weber carb's but I was thinking about going back to the mechanical fuel distributor, but misplaced most of the components, ie, throttle stacks, injectors, and fuel lines. Where should send the distributor to get rebuild and where can I get the missing parts? Is it even worth going back to original fuel system? Thanks, hipdoc

You mean Bosch MFI?

Send the injection pump to Eurometrix or Gus Pfister at Pacific Fuel Injection.

There are others who rebuild pumps and they are listed in the "Ultimate MFI Resources Thread" in the 911 Technical Forum.

The injection pump is much more than a "mechanical fuel distributor"

here is one resource:

Yes, I meant the Bosch MFI. I have one complete one and another for parts. Do you know where the best place to find the rest of the system to use the MFI? If it's going to be a pricey ordeal, I'm thinking about sticking with the Webers.

To find missing parts, the Early 911S Registry classifieds section, as well as Pelican Parts classifieds are your best choices.

People here: http://www.early911sregistry.org/forum/index.php will sort through eBay and post the most interesting items and the most well documented parts.

Shops like TLG Auto, TRE Motorsport, Supertech, etc. may have parts like those stored in the back room.
