What cuts Yamabond (spl)

Or will disolve it?

I assume you mean to clean case halves. I've just done it by hand with a scraper and razor blades. Other then that, can't help you.

Scotch Brite, MEK and a respirator. Gloves are also a good idea.
If you have a stainless tooth brush, they work good too.

*If you use MEK please remember that it is very toxic. Don't use it in a confined space and limit your physical contact.*

Berryman's carb cleaner works for me.

How I did it. First I bought a $1.58 aluminum baking pan from the $ store. I added about a 1/4 inch of varsol (paint thinner) from Home Cheapo. Put the cam tower flat into the pan and set it out. A day later I came back and used a brush I bought from Harbor Frite Tools for about a buck and a pot scrubber I stole from the Mrs and scrubed away. That took away about 90% of the mess. Then I used the same pan and put in 1/4 inch of lacquer thinner and set over night. That did it. The pot scrubber and brush cleaned it.

Mrs wanted the pan but it has already gone to recyling.
