Hey guys, I see there are some questions on this thread.
My apologies to Packy as I did not see his question from a while back. Anyway, the 915 was holding up OK, but I had treated it quite gingerly. No hard launches, but instead rev matching, double clutch, the works. I say "was" because the vent on top of the tranny was somewhat misaligned from one of my engine drops. This led to loss of tranny fluid and now it pops out of third when cold. One of those argh moments. Still useable but trying to decide what to do about it.
Awjens I sent an answer to your PM but for the benefit of all, I am using a euro O 438 100 031 FD which I tested at about 210-220 mL/min. The rest is stock including the fuel pump which I purchased new. I do have a digital WUR made of the block and stepper motor used by the old UTCIS digital WUR which is now powered by an Arduino with my own control program. Still WIP, but I like projects so it will always be a WIP.
A couple of other things I did. The used supercharger suffered damage due to a worn rear bearing (I got it used) so it was rebuilt and only recently did I reinstall it. I had a welder put a lip on the outlet since that hose would pop off. I also checked the bypass valve and saw that it was internally "damaged" to allow an air leak bypassing the supercharger. I dont know if it was done on purpose but it explains my originally low boost and why subsequent smaller pulleys did not increase boost over 6-7 psi. Had that fixed and am starting off with the largest pulley again. I also made a part to move the bypass valve so that it no longer interferes with the deck lid. I am thinking a duck tail in the future would be sweet.
