Opinions on 69 E motor project

Orig had this in wrong forum.

Hello I recently picked up a project that had been pretty well on it's way and I have some questions as to finish as started or change directions for this spare motor.
69 E motor CW crank, short block rebuilt ( the obvious is fresh wrist pin bushings, new cam chains, crank feels good) WILL PULL IT DOWN to truly evaluate condition but assumes info correct, heads recut sealing surf, new guides, fresh grind on seats, lacking valves very good condition

The P& C's with it are 85mm which to my calculations would give me 2.25L displacement, the set is used but has been honed and looks like new rings.
I can post numbers from these BUT in a similar thread here on piston compression and wrist pin to piston head height, of the 5 or 6 pistons shown, none look like mine,

Does this sound like a popular combination for a base build??

One of the attractive things on this "lot" of parts was basic spare motor in apparently good condition and a set of nice Webbers with manifolds, linkage, for about the $$ of a crappy set of webbers.

Any input appreciated.

Regards
