911 Carburetor
Just acquired a 1977 911 2.7 L. I am looking into options to replace / repair the current fuel injection system. Does anyone know if the Webber conversion kit is the preferred option? Or what are my other options?

As you might know, Weber's are long out of production and the newest version are the PMO carburetors (which are FAR superior).
Its very tough to beat them for performance and throttle response but one needs some mechanical skills and experience to do the conversion properly. One can buy a complete PMO kit that contains everything you need to do this,... ![]() Personally, I'm no fan of CIS FI so I consider these conversions to be worthwhile.

yep...PMO way to go. I have them and they are indeed the BEST thing since sliced bread and Richard (the manfacturer) is a great guy to deal with. Say bye bye to 3600 smackers but they will last and last.
