Yes, I know I'd be better off with the solid tubes but this is what I have. But, does it matter which way these go on?

I always try to set them up so the flow is away from the overlap not into it. But since the tubes will fill up with oil anyhow when not running it may not matter.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. If that's the case, these look to be put on backwards.

+1 on being reversed. Also, I have not seen many of the spring loaded return tubes.

The spring loaded, the only ones I had ever seen, were onmy 76 turbo when I bought it in 92
