When you have the crank in your hand, the nose bearing comes right off. With the case together, it sits on a retainer pin so you cant remove it

My nose bearing is stuck on...
I can't seem to pry mine off with my hands... I wonder if it jammed onto the retainer and stuck?
What would you suggest using to pry it off. Perhaps a flathead SD and a rubber mallet and pound from the outside edge of the bearing??? ![]() Thanks for your help... ![]() |

Just tap it with a SD on the lip below your arrow. Tap upwards toward center. Tap REALLLLLY gently to get it to move.

Take a flat head screw driver and place the tip between the case and the lip of the bearing. Turn the screw driver by hand and the bearing will move off it's seat.

Your picture with the RED arrow is showing us the #1 main bearing not the #8 nose bearing?
