Powder coating my fan

Now that I got my 964 fan all cleaned up I want to powder coat it. Does anyone have a recomendation for a powder coating shop in the San Fernando Valley? West Valley maybe? Thanks all!

Christopher

Use somebody who knows how to do it on a Porsche. Where the paint is applied is important.

The thickness of the application is important too. I'm more of a natural look kind of guy but, I have seen others get the fan and housing powder coated to the point where the fan interfered with the housing.

I agree with Fast Corners, I suspect since both fan and housing are coated you may have a problem. I did my fan and instead painted my housing with high temperature ceramic embedded paint and baked it for a hard durable finish.

Regards,
Alex

Powder coating is a good thing....

JB

PS: this particular powder coater does oodles of Porsche parts and knows what he's doing. Fan and housing both done, no issues, as with all 4 valve covers and engine tin.... Located in South San Francisco...

I was going to recommend Pyramid as well. It worked for me and they're close to you.

Just to be sure, show them the fan and housing pics so they know where to mask.
