Need Crankshaft Opinions (3.0L)

I need an honest opinion on a used crankshaft I just purchased for my '82 3.0L SC- advertised as STD.

From a newby's point of view (me)... it looks like a great crank because the one I took out of my old motor was worn way past STD. I did my mics on it and came up with mostly 53.02s on the Rod Journals and 60.02s on the Main Journals.

According to the info I have in Waynes book that's the very bottom end of STD??? Some of my mics dropped a tenth below, but would come back up to STD when I rotated the mic. Is this acceptable or will I go below STD with a balancing?

I really just want someone to tell me if this is a good sign or bad for a used crankshaft.

Below you will see some wear which concerns me on the first photo. It's a main journal but it still mics at just under 60.02.

Below you will see the oil holes which all look like this. They seem to appear deep, but I don't have a new crank to compare to.

I'd appreciate some unbiased opinions on what I have here... Thank you for comments in advance.

Your measurements all look to be on the high side of Std/std.

Here's some typical inspection data for a used 3.0 SC Crankshaft.

Make sure you are using you micromters properly. They should read to three significant figures

Wow that is some diagram Tom... Thank you very, very much!

The thing that threw me off was the "Bore" and "Shaft" sizes. Waynes book calls for 53.020 to 53.059 for the Rod Bore and 52.971 to 52.990 on the Rod Shaft.

Apparently, I was using the "Bore" measurements.

Thanks again Tom!
