Chain Rail Alignment Question

I am in the process of reassembling my 3.0 motor. I noticed that my inboard chain rails do not line up exactly on the roller part of the chain. The outboard rails line up fine. I am getting ready to install the tensioners and wanted some advice on the rail alignment.

Thanks

You have to look inside the case as you install them and watch as the rail seat on the pins. The snap is closest to the gear, the long side of the rail, You want to see the nipple of the bolt come through the hole. I use a large screwdriver to support the location of the rail and then feel as the pin sets in the retainer on the rail. a small mirror and light will confirm proper location.
