83 SC Rebuild Options

I have an 83 SC... 95k miles... PMO ITB's EFI, Backdated exhaust, SSI's, MSD, rebuilt and recurved distributor w/ mechanical advance... Dont want to spend 20k on a rebuild... Just want to do what makes sense when it comes to pistons and cams since i am not running CIS. Probably do a top end next winter.
Have an opportunity to get my P&C and Cams now financially and spread the cost out abit...

This is primarily a street car. Maybe 2-3 DE events a year.

I am leaning Mahle PC because i want longevity and reliability. Keep stock 3.0 or go Euro? Look for Mahle SS set up?
Best option with the ITB/EFI? Perhaps I toss out the CIS pistons completely? Is there a reason not to just get new stock pistons?

What is the best Cam given all the above? 964 Cams?

I am running 92 Octane Gas.

Thanks in Advance...

I almost bought this engine, but I decided to build my own with mahles. I still plan to be pretty close in my design to this. If you can DYI you will save a bundle.

3.0 dyno day - a pleasant surprise

Not putting miles on your car is like not having sex with your girlfriend, so she'll be more desirable to her next boyfriend.
