Broken cylinder cooling fins

I have some broken cooling fins on my #4 Mahle Nikasil cylinder. Is this a big problem or can I reuse the cylinder? I have the broken pieces so I suppose I could have it TIG welded back in place.

Thanks
Seth

I would not worry about it. You going to gain more cooling with just a good cleaning....

Not a big problem, early 911 turbo's only had fins around half of their cylinders
