964 cam tensioer won't compress

Rebuilding a 92 964 3.6 after a broken valve spring in number 5. Upon reassembly I notice the right side (4-5-6) cam chain tensioner won’t compress like the left side does. Could the tensioner shaft have bent when I dropped the valve? The head, piston and cylinder where trashed as a result of the broken valve spring/dropped valve. Are these tesioners rebuildable? Does anyone have a good used one?

Well….after some gentle probing in the oil inlet side some rather nasty looking oil came out and it now functions as the other tensioner. Could have been “hydraulic lock”?
