Very cool Don! Enjoy your ride!
Hey, thanks Aaron! I forgot to add you in there for a special thanks as well when I was doing the modeling of 911 heads in solidworks... It should be fun, probably have it running in a week or so.
Cheers, D |
can you share your experiences with this engine? what was/is your planned use for it?
I'd say that sounds and looks like one solid little engine.
Need to see more pictures and latest status. It looks great!!!!

Updates: motor is almost ready to start up, got the air filters yesterday!!! Modified 911 MFI engine sheetmetal for 914, oil hard lines made up, wiring harness cleaned up, and MFI fuel filter console mounted. Making the MFI clear flex lines tomorrow and hopefully firing it up for the first time.http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l2...s/IMG_7939.jpg http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l2...s/IMG_7947.jpg http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l2...s/DSC02738.jpg http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l2...s/DSC02739.jpg http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l2...s/IMG_7943.jpg http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l2...s/IMG_7940.jpg I'll post more pics tomorrow evening of more parts, mods, and possibly engine in? |
Can I ask what plug wires you are using and the sump cover? The motor looks awesome!
The distributor and wires are from Patrick Motorsports, the sump is from Pelican's site... I think Aaron (BURN-BROS) makes them?
Thanks Don!
Great work Don. Looks fantastic.
Where did you get the MFI injectors modified?
I'd love to see a picture with those air filters on... |
Looks really good!
Cheers |
And the best part of my weekend, the motor runs, and Lou Ferrigno signed my shirt I bought at a comic shop in New York in 2000 before all the movies came out...
