3.6 case rebuild advice

Im in the process of putting together a 3.9 based on a 964 that will be used for track days and eventually some club racing. The shop is getting ready to split the case and send it to the machine shop. Was hoping to get some guidance on what should be done while the case is apart to increase reliability/efficiency ie oil pump, shuffle pin etc. Thanks for your input and help.
