Bill's 930/50 Turbo Rebuild
Ok, so I have been working on and off on this motor for about 6 years now. A house restoration and two kids derailed the project. Over the last year I have been finding time to start getting things back togeather. I have spent the last few years collecting parts and the time has come to start putting them on as I am running our of room to store it all. The details: Base engine- 1976 930/50 3.0L Turbo (Euro) Modifications: Boat Tailed mains Shuffle pinned C2 Oil Pump Knife edge crank Carrillo Rods Raceware Studs 3.2 P&C's with 7.2 CR Heads R&R + Mild port and polish Twin plugged 3.2 EFI Intake 75mm Throttle body 75lb injectors Motec M600 ECU Twin K16's Custom Equal Length RarelyL8 Headers GT2 EVO Twin Turbo Cams Chassis- 1977 911 3.0 Carrera Euro steel widebody Fuel Safe fule cell Corbeau Seats DAS Roll Bar Schroth 5 point Profi II belts Turbo S Steering Wheel Brembo GT Brakes Front rotor 323x28mm Rear Rotor 309x28mm Gemballa 8.5X18 front Gemballa 11X18 Rear Michelin Sport Rib 225/40 Front and 285/30/18 Rear And here is the latest picture of my son Kaleb helping my put the cams in. He is only 4 1/2 so progress is slow when he wants to help. He loves this stuff though...

Hurry up Bill!! I want to go for a ride! Look out, I may have my susp. all together before you get your engine done... I'll have to pay a visit and inspire you into action. Seriously, if you need a hand give me a call and we can set up a Sat/Sun to get some time on that thing.

I plan on getting the cams timed in the next 2 weeks and then doing the final assembly. I will be ordering a clutch from KEP in the next few weeks as well. I need to get the engine and trans in the car so i can start to fab the IC and plumbing for the twins. I am getting motivated again. I may take you up on the offer to help. At the moment there is barely enough room for me to work. I need to get the brakes on the car and clean out some other items that need to get mounted/installed to give me some more room to work.
