Dansk Sport Muffler for 911
Does anyone know about the internal makeup of a Dansk twin inlet, twin outlet Sport muffler? The question is; Can a larger diameter pipes be welded to the muffler body, and or can the pipes be moved to the center, like a GT3 for example?

SC, Carrera Bischoff Muffler Modification, Mod, Gut, Gutting, Dual, Two Out  Larger diameter pipes in the same location, no prob. GT3 style center pipes would require more extensive modification of internal piping, I reckon.

I think he means the traditional sport muffler. Here is the old article on modifying a single out into a sport muffler; I would assume the factory Dansk looks similar inside.
Moving the outlet pipes outboard to the R or RSR position results in a significant increase in noise. As you can see, it is quite easily done, as the lower chamber goes all the way accross.
