spark plug wire resistance using Magnacor?
I need to check my spark plug wires and other things to find a miss.
I was told that the resistance should be 5000 ohms or less per wire (I guess inside cap to plug connector). I suspect this number is for the stock type wires and cap, is this the same if I have stock cap and Magnacore red wires? Side - are Bosch WR7DC plugs that much better than NGK BPR6ES as in the new NGK plugs are making the car miss, I had'em in there before without an issue. Thanks, -Henry |

The ohmage is many times cast on the spark plug connector, seems to me some of the Beru had 7K ohms on the sides and others had 5K ohms. I would ohm the whole series for the readings

I'll do a number of checks and report back.
It is starting to feel more and more like a mechanical imbalance. I replaced the starter ring and bolted the pressure plate back to the same location.... at least I thought I did. I remember it was off and I redid it. Hopefully it is a spark or fuel issue. |
