Problem with late sprocket support Dear folks, I have a problem using late sprocket supports with second generation chain tensioners. ( J just rebuild them) I used the late sprocket support because they were much better condition that my original ones. Now I realize that they are thicker and not allowing me to use Chain Tensioner Slip Prevention Collars. ( Too less clearance) What is my option to not equipped the collars or grinding the blimp down. Is the blimp hardened. I don't want to change to the feeded tensioners. Thank you for your advice. Until the chains stretch, you won't be able to get the collars on, most people operate without them for a few thousand miles, then the chains have stretched (worn, actually) enough to get them to fit. |
