Problem with late sprocket support
Dear folks,
I have a problem using late sprocket supports with second generation chain tensioners. ( J just rebuild them) I used the late sprocket support because they were much better condition that my original ones. Now I realize that they are thicker and not allowing me to use Chain Tensioner Slip Prevention Collars. ( Too less clearance) What is my option to not equipped the collars or grinding the blimp down. Is the blimp hardened. I don't want to change to the feeded tensioners. Thank you for your advice. Here some pictures ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Until the chains stretch, you won't be able to get the collars on, most people operate without them for a few thousand miles, then the chains have stretched (worn, actually) enough to get them to fit.
