guys - there is a new tech discussion worth checking out regarding the pump gas - CR issues and dynamic compression effects related to cam choice

- see this month's Car Craft Magazine "what's your problem" feature - there is another discussion in that section about cam duration as it affects this issue

that piece is not yet online

based on what i read there - I'm particulary interested in your opinions about whether a long duration, short separation cam might actually be a bad choice for a low CR motor (in my case 8.5 with a solex cam grind)

and - how is it that Porsche got 210 hp out of an 8.5 CR motor with S cams?
