What 3.0 Engine do I have???

My 1977.....as I have been told from prior owners has an 1983 3.0
My serial is *6402957*
So what do I have????

The engine S/N corresponds to a 1980 3.0 SC.

Serial # on engine case.
Owner that brought it to Michigan told me its an 1983

An '83 USA SC motor would have a S/N beginning with 64D.
