3.2SS with 3.2 Motronic?

I have searched and searched;

I am trying to determine if a 3.0 l engine could be converted to a 3.2SS and have the complete CIS system replaced with a complete 3.2 Carrera Motronic Intake system?

Would this system bolt on, and would there be any benefit?

Thanks

James

No personal experience, but I think I have seen people do 3.2SS out of SC's and then use the 3.2 intake together with i.e. megasquirt. So why not Motronic.

I'd think yes.

Yes it would work. I've seen it done on 3.0s with aftermarket EFI and retaining the 3.0 CIS pistons.

Thanks. I will look a little more into the EFI/Megasquirt.
