964 100mm Cylinders

Curious, can the 964 100mm Cylinders be used in the 3.2 Motor to increase to 3.5L capacity?

The stud spacing is larger on the 3.6 engine which is why you can not easily use 3.6 cylinders on a 3.2 engine. Jim

The early 964 100mm cylinders (without the head gaskets) can be used on the medium stud spacing cases (3.0,3.2,3.3) if they are modified. The spigot needs to be turned down and the cylinder head stud holes need to be reamed to accept the smaller head stud spacing. The case spigots will also have to be enlarged. The last street engine I did with this combination made 300 at 7000 to the wheels thru a g-50 trans. If you have any questions about this you can PM me.
