Does the head fit snugly to the cylinder/barrel or is there some looseness where the head can shift around slightly?
3.2L BTW.

Not snug, they do shift around a slight bit.

So, should I have the head nuts loose, install the cam housing/tower over the studs and dowels on the heads, and then snug the head nuts down before torquing?
When I was messing around and I hadn't torqued the heads down (just snug), I noticed the cam towers wouldn't easily slide over the studs. Being the heads shifted around somewhat, I figured they may not seat exactly in the exact spot needed after torquing making the towers a struggle to slde on. Am I missing something?

Seal, bolt and torque up the heads to the cam towers then install them on the cylinders as a set and torque them down.
Work the complete set down slowly as you will have the oil return tubes in there. Go around with 5# increases or so.

Thanks again! One more question: All my heads have the temp sensor hole/boss. I thought only 1 (#3 cylinder) out of the set does?

3.2 heads have them in all heads so you can put any head on any cylinder but I did notice that one of your heads temp port did have a plug in it for some reason...
I would guess its easier to just manufacture them all the same?
