what does ++++ mean on cylinder sleeve stamping
Have a Mahle Cylinder sleeve
95ZN6 ++++ I think are the markings.  thx, Mike

It is the weight group of the P/C set. You should check the Porsche workshop manual of your car/engine.

In this case this comes from a custom built race engine where the pistons have been replaced with Ross 100mm domed pistons. M96's I know reasonably well -- This is my first look at an air cooled engine -- so I'm in for a steep learning curve. Mike
