Adhesive to use......

What would be a good adhesive to use to keep the chain ramp stud in place? Found the missing stud at the bottom of the chain housing during engine tear down. Would JB Weld, red loctite, etc. be a good adhesive for this type of work? Any suggestion, recommendation, or tip much appreciated.

Those are an interference fit or press fit. Not sure if they make an oversize? I don't think bonding it in will work..but I could be wrong.

Knowing me, I would try JB weld. What do you have to lose?

Buy a used chain housing. I will be cheaper and less trouble in the long run.

OldTee,

Purchased one from Tom Butler and should arrive tomorrow according to tracking number. Since I'm rebuilding this motor for a Pelican member, I decided to take a more prudent course of action. Thanks.

Tony
