Will a 0 231 159 001 distributor work in a 1970 911T?

I am looking to replace my 911T's Marelli distributor with a bosch one. Will this one work? Or do I need to have it recurved?

I disagree, that's an old cast iron distributor designed with an advance curve for solex engines. The T curve is different, not by a ton, but different nonetheless. Also that will stick out like a sore thumb in the engine compartment- one would expect to see an aluminum body distributor, not a cast iron one from the 356 days (like our SWBs)

Look for one of these:

0 231 159 008 (oem 2.2t)
0 231 159 006 (2.2E)

Alternatively, you could use a 2.4/2.7 dizzy but have the shaft machined to fit your car's case. Just remove the vac advance. At least, this is what I have been told.

My car has an 006. It works fine. The 007 S curve is too radical.
