Question about shaving heads

Warning Thread hijack!!!

I am rebuilding the top end on my SC using big port heads with .013 shaved off the bottom of the heads. Will I have a clearance problem? I know in Waynes book it says to check this clearance and adjust if nessecary. So how does one adjust this clearance?

Thanks and sorry about the hijack!

Using cylinder base gaskets you can make the difference if you have clearance problems.
