Rocker arm bushings: Replace or not?
When I was cleaning parts today, I noticed some wear on the inside of the rocker arm bushings.
I can't remember if there was anything in Wayne's rebuild book about that. Anyway, are they usually replaced when rebuilding? I suppose that if they are worn, they need to be replaced... (well DUH! ![]() Next problem: where to find them?? PP doesn't seem to sell them. PET at the dealer couldn't find them either. And I don't want to buy new rocker arms wit hte bushings in them, too expensive... (12 bushings cost as mush as one rocker arm...) Part number is 901 105 043 98 Any info on this would be greatly appreciated.

See this thread:
Rocker arm bushing source motionindustries.com has them for very little money. Their website is a little clunky, but they do take phone orders and they were very helpful. I used the Garlock bushings. For idler arms & sprockets: idler arm bushing replacement
