cam timing
ok after almost a full year having the engine in the garage and many personal events it is now time to get the motor running.
I have replaced one cylinder, piston, and head. CAM Timing is next. so the question is how. I have watched a video by nick fulljames who was working with an older engine. he set the rise to 5.25mm. I believe that the setting for me is 1.55mm according to the Bentley manual and Wayne's 101 projects book. advice on setting the CAM Timing? |

Set and measure the left one and be content with the setting then match the right one even if you have to remove the tensioner and jump the gear one or two teeth in the chain for better and closer numbers.
