2.0 aluminum case by pass
What is needed to perform a oil bypass mod on the 2.0 aluminum case. I was told the this mod really helps oil pressure at idle. I do find the after my engine is hot the idle oil pressure is really low, but it has great oil pressure off idle when hot and cold.

If your engine is still together and your only reason to disassemble it is to perform a bypass, try cam feed line restricters. They are great at improving low rpm oil pressure. (that is of course if you don't have center feed cams)

The bypass mod does nothing to change your oil pressure. It allows you to use a later oil pump which will increase your oil pressure. It involes drilling a hole to connect two oil passages and pluging an existing hole.
