Batteries HELP!!!
Hello,
Just acquired a 1970 911T 2.2 . so I'm a newbie at this. It has two batteries. Does the car have to have both batteries connected to be able to start the car, or can I start the car with one battery. Thanks for all the info you could provide. ![]() |

A single battery will start the car as long as it has enough power. You have to make sure the positive lead for the one not installed is insulated and does not touch ground. Item 11 is the jumper between the 2 batteries. Many have gone with a single battery setup. If you do a search there are a few options for relocating a single larger battery.

Hello, you have posted in the wrong forum (this is the engine building forum) - you would have much greater success posting these types of questions in the 911 forum . . .
