I used a USA "S" cams on turbo with success. but it was for street car, so low end torque was important.
originaly the engine had The MFI carrera "S " cams , but client didnīt like at all after turboed, switching the cams was like water to wine difference. Hope this helps... |

Bmep also used S cams with success on a turbo. Not ideal, but workable.

On that note, I sent the custom turbo cams I had built by John Dougherty for my aborted 2.3 turbo project for regrind last week. They were a modified GT2/DC43 grind that was good for 450HP, but with better overlap specs than S cams. If John hasn't reground them already and if your S cams are in good shape and have MFI drive, I'd trade you straight up. They'd be waaay better than S cams.

Thanks for the contribution guys.
Kenikh, yes these have MFI drive and condition is good. Are yours 102 or 112 degree LSA? There are two versions of DC43 on the Dougherty site.

Custom. IIRC, GT2 on the intake side, DC43 on the exhaust. LSA is 108 degrees.

Here's the current situation of the car, had a bit of quality time on it during weekend. Removed the fenders and rear quaterpanels in order to have new ones made with the molds I got with the car. Current ones were too thick and heavy, also fitment was not as good as I would have liked. These were my friends first efforts in fiberglassing but unfortunately his last ones too. He died shortly after that in a car crash, I purchased the project from his father, kinda moral obligation since there was huge amount of my workhours put into that car too. Would not have wanted this car to end up into some ricers hands..
I am selling the Speedline wheels as these are too extreme for car that light and no aero as I would never get them to warm up otherwise. So, if someone is interested, very lightweight (fronts 7,1 kg, rears 7,9 kg) magnesium wheels are for sale:
