10.5CR 95 mm Mahles
I'd like second opinion on the 10.5CR Mahle pistons marketed by Andial.
ANDIAL - Performance Parts for Porsche part no 103 984 95S Anyone know what alloy they are made from, and how they compare to the OEM Mahle pistons wrt metallurgy/wear/running clearances ? Are they similar quality as the OEM pistons ? I am weary of using 2618 material pistons in a daily driver and I am aiming at a build that will last 20 years ! I am aware they will require dual spark and are not intended for CIS Regards

I have them in my RSR clone motor and have been running on the street and track for 3 years with no problems.
I have been told that they are OEM Mahle quality.

Its the same material as the OEM forged pistons, but not the same as their cast OEM ones. It lasts FAR longer than 2618 does. FWIW,......Mahle does make a 98mm piston at 9.8:1 thats specifically designed and intended for single ignition due to its wedge dome. These used to be called Max Moritz ones and those work very well as long as one uses a compatible camshaft..

Does anyone know where Andial's parts inventory went to? Since Andial does not exist anymore.
Any other sources for 95 mm Mahle piston/cylinder sets with 10.5:1 C.R.? Thanks,
