First over Bearings

hi:
I am looking at a 2.7mag case that is line bored with first over size 010 bearings.
After searching and reading the posts am i correct to think that i should avoid this case as
1. the bearigns are hard to get
2. they are expensive
3. the case will be harder to redo if required.

Am i correct?

IMHO,..that's one to avoid.

Find a good standard case and have it all rehabilitated as needed. This means case savers, center lines machined and bored back to standard, oil bypass mod, and decked. Its not cheap, however thats how one makes a reliable mag-cased engine.

2.4 except the CIS T engines are not 7R cases. Thge good thing is they are virgin cases, no need to time cert, just install the dilivars after you open for the 90mm cylinders of the 2.7.
The easiest fix, do a 3.0 having more intrinsic value when youre finished.
