What is this?

I am doing a top end rebuild on my 1995 993 c2. While cleaning the case I noticed this black spot in cylinder number three. Top of the pic is top of the engine. Oil breather is on left top. Anyone know what this is Should it look like this or not?

Thats the pressed in oil line and if you look on the outside of the case there is a dimple there too.

Spot

It is normal, it is an oil passage that is cast into the case during mfg.

Thanks guys. It just looked a little strange in that the case was oil colored and this spot was black. Thanks for the help!
