To whom this may concern.. Myfriend, I have found a independent investorgator that is from CA. This guy will help uspt this losser in jail!!!

There is no way Geico would pay $13,000.00 for a bumper repair if my car was not worth at least $50,000.00. I state this fact because just after I finally had gotten my car back from Scottsdale Auto (still without $1,000.00 radar detector repaired from Jason and the bumper repair).
NTT tried pulling a fraud scam by getting Lienwerks to state the value was worth under $4,000.00 like these scammers tried to get away with to keep me from paying for my car bill, which motor misters was billed for two weeks before I was at the NTT and had the Downey Police department there to witness this crime.
I should have been allowed to pay the $1750.00 in fees and then went after Motor Misters for the cost's plus $1750.00 in storage fee's that NEVER should have been placed on my car, as well as Motor Misters giving my car to NTT without my permission. The car was in perfect condition including a $5000.00 custom stereo system. Motor Misters stated to me that they were going to pay for the enclosed shipping fees for two reasons.
1. They were very confident Geico was going to pay at least $16,000.00 for the engine plus fees.
2. After the repair was done they would be able to post the story on three website in hopes to earn more failed body shop mistakes with this horrible outcome.
I tried to pay even though both Mia from Lienwreks and NTT managing staff were well a wear this was highly fraudulent activates.

It still amazes me that there is anyone left who has not been burned by or warned away from these idiots!

Much as we like to think of this forum as the center of Porsche-ownership, it's a big world out there. More Pcar owners should be aware.

Also like to ask if there's anyone that has filed complaint against the DMV or the last 2 to 3 years involving title the title fraud and the mistakes that are total fraud.

Hello all,

I just wanted to throw in some of my thoughts and a description of my experience Motor Meister.

My initial experience with contacting Motor Meister luckily made my Spidey senses tingle and I immediately suspected something fishy. First, he spent a huge amount of time on the phone with me. That's a warning right away. Most people today are extremely busy and in this industry, usually work long hours. I had seen his type before. Huge sale means you need to spend a lot of time up front. Once you start to sense the customer is buying what you're saying, it's just a matter of timing before you ask him to sign on the dotted line.

Delaying my decision was the best thing to do. So, I put him to the test and called again. I figured if I was going to give someone $5,000 US funds, he was going to spend at least an hour on the phone with me. And if not, then I'd like the price to be $5300. Now can we talk?

My assessment was that this guy had some Porsche experience but was clearly not interested in answering the difficult questions like what is entailed in turning a 2.2 into a 2.5. And I don't consider that to be a difficult question. When a salesperson is unwilling to answer the most basic questions, that should be a warning that they are way too concerning about just getting your money and moving on to the next customer. At the time, I was only able to find two references to bad dealings with Motor Mesiter posted online. This was around 2004. So, we've had 8 years of additional internet postings.

My next interaction with Motor Meister came as a result of their advertisement for specialized parts for Zenith 40TIN carbs (for the 2.5 I wanted to build). When I started to ask questions about the flare of the venturi and the impact of emulsion tubes on the carb's high end performance, they stopped talking. Again, Spidey senses tingling big time.

Over the years I have seen Motor Meister increase their advertising, which means they might have been doing well, pre-1980's. They seem to exist on the fringe due to the fact that there is a large market (Porsche hobbiests and DIYs) that is unprepared for the degree of underhandedness that exists in this industry. And sometimes our desire for the Porsche is beyond strong.

It's difficult to imagine them thriving in this economic climate. One thing is for certain. It's taken time for the internet to do its job in helping to spread the word. There is a turnover point where the amount of reference to the term "Motor Meister" on the internet in written form, will clearly start generating more hits and returns on searches. For example, in every paragraph I have worked in the name Motor Meister, thus increasing the frequency of its appearance on the internet.

As a result of this, it is vitally important that customers talk about ALL experiences (research shows people talk about bad experiences 20 times more often than positive ones), with their vendors. Again for example, I have had good experiences with our host, Pelican Parts, with purchasing Porsche parts. I recall in particular that when I was sent a bad product, Wayne immediately accepted responsibility and the refund was processed with no delay.

Of course, here in Canada it is easier to get a bunch of people together who have been swindled, get a lawyer, file a class action lawsuit against Motor Meister.

I don't know that Motor Meister is doing that well anyway. Have they not seriously cut back on their advertising in the major Porsche publications? Related to the economy?

Anyway, hopefully people will talk about MotorMeister and provided their experiences. That's the best hope to help fellow Porsche DIY's on a limited budget (like me), from getting ripped off.

Thanks for reading all of this.

Best regards,

Dino

Sign me up to try to shut down MM. I regret I didn't do more research in January about their business practices. My experience is minor (carb rebuild and attempt to purchase a bosch distributor which never showed) compared to those that sent engines or took entire cars. None the less, I experienced most all of the disasters as everyone else including long delays, unreturned calls, lying, and "tooth pulling" lack of refunds.

here is an interesting 964 on Ebay:
Porsche : 911 964 in Porsche | eBay Motors

the description includes "This Porsche 911 C4 964 Year 1990 is not complete, the engine was sent to be rebuilt but it was STOLEN by M.M."

interesting indeed...

Hi, to whom this may concern.. , Jerry Marks and Mia Pie (motor miester) in California, stole from me 8.000,00 USD and the whole engine from a 2007 Boxster RS60 Spyder, we are a private auto repair shop in Venezuela, we contacted this company and sent the whole engine in 2011. After so many calls to jerry, of course he never anwers the phone just mia, but she always lies to the customers. I did get an email on february 2013 that said that I do owe money to this company and that they are done with me, and that i have to read Customer Responsibilites, the point is that after one year of lying to me they did not fix my engine so i do not owe them money AND THEY KEEP MY ENGINE AND MY MONEY. I can not belive these kind of peolpe doing buisness in the USA. We do not do things like you do in the USA forget about police frinds or lawyers, we solve things different to get this kind of garbage out of bussines. Funny thing is that, you jerry, think you did a easy money with me. time just time...... 03/19/2013

How can MM keep on ripping people off like this without any consequence?

Is law suits to expensive or will they never lead to anything?

The MM story is an old one, but some have actually had good results when working with attorneys to sort the problem.

One of our clients had good luck using the attorney Lee Ackerman ... I highly recommend him.

Lee was able to get the client's car back from the NTT people for ZERO dollars, and he was able to get the motor, transmission, and various parts back from Motor Meister after more than 3 years of the client getting run around and lied to by the Motor Meister people.

Myself and my father had to go to Downey to collect the parts and pieces, but in the end we were able to put the car back together and close the book on the awful saga for the client.

Good luck. Call Lee Ackerman...
