    Hello Totle,
I'm delighted to find your posts showing a friends 962 build, I have to say it looks fantastic and I admire his abilities. I have been planning to do something similar for some time now however find it very difficult to source reliable accurate dimensions and drawings, would your friend be willing to share any information that he has or would you be able to put him in cocntact with myself so I can discuss his success so far. It will be some time until I begin cutting metal as I'm currently trying to build an accurate cad model to be sure I have all of the neccessary information required but would be happy to then share these cad models / electronic drawings with him?

    Look forward to your reply

    Kind Regards

I've just been reading your post '79 930 - G50 conversion... I am about to do a very similar thing I have a stock '79 - which is going to be backdated to an '72 ST and a '92 RS engine and gearbox (G50) - I have been looking into the torsion bar / bell house shortening and after reading your post, think I'm going to go the bell housing route...

In your post you mention needing the bell housing and main shaft shortened - are these the only mods needed to make it fit? - I see you also bought a few other bits - are they also necessary?

Also, you said 29mm is the max you can remove from the bell housing - how much did you have taken off - and did it fit ok? - Did you cut the main shaft by the same amount?

    Many thanks, Adam

In case you still need SC cams, I have a pair in good condition that I don't need anymore. How about $60 shipped to Miami? Please send reply to and will forward some pictures. Thanks.
