3.2L Camshafts Stampings
Is it normal for one camshaft to be stamped (mine shows 930.148.10) and the other to have no numbers but only a stamping on the big end as such:

That one looks like it has markings on it that were made for a re-grind

Camshaft Profiling
Is it worth having the camshaft profiled to see if it is stock or modified?
I'm rebuilding my motor and plan to replace the cams, but might think twice if it already had a reprofiled cam. Thanks, Gordo

I believe that depends on what you have and also on what you want. You can take measurements to determine the profile of what you currently have, but folks that do re-grinds will probably want to look at them in person, take their own measurements.
