86 carrera purchase

I have an opportunity to purchase a 86 911 Carrera. I would be stupid to pass this up. it's a very good car, for a very good price.

I've always wanted a 911, but still very apprehensive, what's the cost of maintenance on these cars.

I have owned 912's and 356's, and have done most of my maintenance myself.

Go for it. If you think too hard and long you'll find a way out. Get a PPI for confidence and enjoy as long as it comes back clean.

Well, I did purchase the 86 Carrera, no PPI done , no time . I did my own, it really doesn't matter for what I paid for the car.

The car has 123,000 original miles, It doesn't have a single rust spot very solid . It's been a California car. The car runs strong.

Now what is the car worth? because I don't plan to keep it, it will be for sale soon.

Thanks, Art

Thanks, Art
