Aircooled Camshaft Nut Tools P202 and P203
I have a thread which is all about the rebuild of my 1978 911SC engine. I have got completely stuck however because I cannot source the 46mm crowfoot tool and associated camshaft holding socket, part numbers P203 and P202. Even Porsche don't supply them any more it seems.
My question is what do I do, or more to the point, what does everyone else do to get these things apart? Is there a UK supplier who has these tools at a reasonable price maybe? |

Pelican also sells Stomski tools and they created a nice alternative to the separate crowsfoot and cam snout bar. Pretty slick tool.

You may want to consider getting the ends of the cams machined to the later style 83SC bolt and washer setup and use the later tools to assemble it. This eliminates the huge crows foot and special socket tooling. you will still need the later cam sprocket tool but this might be easier to source. Fred
