Need Help Confirming Year Of Engine Case & Ballpark Value
Hi Guys, the number on the two case halves, below the head studs is 901.101.102.1R. I believe this is a 2.0L case used for the US & Canada 911's. The other number on the right side is *3380310*. Is this case a magnesium or aluminum type?
I may be wanting to part with it but need some help on what would be a reasonable price, being in good condition. I have seen some prices of engine cases on EBay etc. that you would think are made of gold! Thanks in advance! J.R.

JR
My reference data says this is a 1968 sportomatic crankcase made of magnesium. The crankcase materiel changed from Al to Mg in 1968 for the sporto cases at serial number 3380148
