What is this engine...? (3.0 Stroker?)
Hey All,
Been doing a bunch of research to try to see if anyone has built an engine like this before, but not really having any luck. I got this motor with a project I acquired a while back, and trying to see if anyone has built one like it. It sounds like a 3.0 with a 3.6 crank, yielding a displacement of ~3.4. Here is a spec list from the seller... 3.0 Case Carrera Oil Pump Twin Plugged 3.6 STD/STD Crankshaft Custom Single Belt Pulley Forged 11:1 JE Pistons Machine matched Nikasil cylinders GE-80 Profile Web Cams Carrera Tensioners Intake Ports Cleaned to 40mm Exhaust Ports to 38mm High performance valve springs Curious if anyone has experience with this type of build. Thanks in advance! |

Sounds like a healthy engine, you'll need EFI or 46mm carbs.
If it's primarily a street car you might want to change the cams to something with more lower rpm grunt and drivability.
